The steelbook's going to be more valuable years from now. I'd keep it if I were you.

A 60FPS HD upres of the game is doubtless going to look better than the PS2 edition. That steelbook edition, though, is more likely to be worth something to collectors in time.

HD version is still superior, it has HD textures, not just 1080p resoltion.

Compared to the Wii version or the X360/PS3 one or the old PC-Version, you are not gonna win a lot with the PC-HD-Port.. but the PS2-Version was already inferior to the GameCube original, so the jump from PS2 to PC-HD might actually be worth it, if you´re not looking for anything that might compare to modern games.
Keep in mind that the most bashing about the PC-HD-Version is, that they didn´t improve it enough and things like the new textures (some people seem to like them and some dont) can be turned off in the menu, makin it look like the older versions, but still a lot better than PS2.
On top of that, since it is a PC-Version, there will probaply be some mods in the future to make it look a lot better.
TL;DR: If you want to play the best version of this game, this will probaply be it. But if you expect big improvements from the X360/PS3/Wii or the old PC-Version, you are gonna be disappointed.

Not sure about the 60FPS-thing, but you can turn this off aswell and play with 30FPS and the old textures.. guess they kept this optional for a reason ;)

Lol. The PC port is one of the worse ports ever made. If I remember right, it does not have an exit button/option, since the PS2 one did not need it.
But the real problem is aiming. It originally did not have mouse support, and was completely played with a keyboard (even the FPS parts). I think some people modded in mouse support latter, but not sure how good it is (I know the native key support was so rough that you simply could not aim accurately enough to hit anything)

why would you SELL it if steelbook? Steelbook has a certain collector's value that a digital game can't replace. The STEAM PC (also called Ultimate HD Edition) port looks better it most aspects but i wouldn't sell a limited edition copy of the PS2 for it. Avoid at all costs the old PC version, though, it's a nightmare.

Look on Ebay and see that the collector's steel book is worth and selling for on there. Then you can see if it is worth selling.

i have the ps2 premium edition with all ada bonus missions etc. i think it's the full package, the fullest which is available. it has a steelbook, tinfoil card etc. but it's not that important. i wanna sell it maybe and get the pc version if it really is superior!
do you have any experiences so far?
