This happened with me with Red Orchestra 2. It never fixes itself after the free weekend either. You just gotta buy the game, which I did. :)

That's strange, I think I once messed up and resynced on a Friday, the game did remove itself from my library, but not on Monday, more like Wednesday / Thursday. I generally try to re-sync on a Wednesday, nowadays, that's the safest day.

It does fix itself, but you play the game during the free period it hangs in your profile for, I think, 2 weeks.

Well this would need some fix, Free Weekends means Sale and that means Giveaways of that game but it doesn't make any sense if people can't join because the game is temporarily on your library for the weekend.
