I guess I would like to give this a go. I mean, I pretty much wouldn't enter for anything other than my top most wanted games and I would like to wait and see how everything goes (cough give you time to weed out all the people who are gonna take this as an easy win without actually intending to play anything cough) before maybe making giveaways... I just don't trust most people nowadays, ok? XD
But, yeah, why not. :D

A perfect group for me, I only join giveaways for games I want to play. :D

Nice idea, I'd be interested in joining. Joined BLAEO recently as well to get some extra incentive of attacking my backlog and this group I'm sure will help even more :P
However I do have a question. When you mention that what's considered a decent try of the game is about half the average time does that apply to long titles that normally require 30-40h+ or a 2-5h mark would suffice? Let's take Stardew valley for example. HLTB has it at a 51h for main story completion. So that means half of it is ~25h. Are we required to play that long even if we realise it's totally different from what we expected and don't like it?

Well, hopefully it's really judged with case to case basis... cause if someone would win for example CS:GO, he would have to play nearly 170 hours to make up for half of the average game time :DD
Also, i would love to get an invitation - i won't enter a lot of giveaways, since my backlog is pretty filled, but i certainly would enter something that is high on my wishlist and put it on top of the backlog list and play it right away, let me know if such behavior is okay, or unacceptable :)

Sure, for now it will be judged on a case to case basis. After we (me and Yirg at the moment) have ruled over some giveaways I guess there will be some more guidelines for transparency reasons. And of course it's alright to join any group giveaway whenever you want. Just (start to) play them within a month and you should be fine, whatever position on your backlog that may be. :) Invitation was send.

I have more time on my hands lately; I am motivated to play any win within the month.

I'm interested in joining. I play games I win preferentially over games I've bought, simply because I feel like it's just common curtousy since it was someone else's money that bought the game.

Introduction
Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires committent and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month. In return members will get higher chances of winning games they want and creators will know their giveaways have a high chance of getting played. The group has more than 1000 members and over 25000 historical giveaways.
