I tried it with vpn and supposedly it added me to the library but when I open the launcher the game does not appear.
Updated:
After several minutes, the game has already appeared in my library and is not showing up as a DEMO.

if you try on PC without VPN you get the demo version
if you dont have VPN (as me) you can get it (full version) either by mobile app or by opening your web browser in mobile mode (F12 for chrome for example)

Thanks. Mobile mode worked for me. On Firefox you have to press ctrl+shift+m or go to the menu->more tools->web developer tools (or ctrl+shift+i) and then on the right next to the close button you will find the responsive design mode and reload the page from OP.

Well I used PC without VPN using responsive mode of Chrome to claim the game from the Japanese Ubi site. I just looked and the full version is still in my account.
Use the method that works best for you the only important thing is you getting the full game. Good luck
