and a locked jewelry box that opens via a keypad code

You decide to examine the painting carefully. Old Harry was always fond of hidden drawers and compartments that he used to stage treasure hunts for you and your friends, when you were little. He'd record clues on cassette tapes, that he'd hide in various places...

Wouldn't surprise you at all if this was one last treasure hunt to remember him by.
