This isn't to all of you but if you want to enter for something free, try to spare the few secionds to say thankyou for the oppertunity to win something that you are giving us. This post isn't to the regular people out there saying thankyou posting a joke troll here and there. It's at the people in the back groud who just farm up p and then enter giveaways as fast and often as you can. Never taking the few monets to say thankyou, like ever. This i my loving hate pot direct to you: the best part is: I know your too fricken lazy to reply.

I actually read all of them. Even if it's a simple "Thank you".

Of course, most of those people don't even know we have a forums section, or would read a thread like this.
Also, thanks for Skyrim! Have it already, but everyone else should have a chance to play this game :)

Thankyou for bringing this to the attention of the site, I agree wholeheartedly with you squire. Having only been here a day and set up my first gift.

Charming,

I feel the way to combat this is to start doing more puzzle gifts (like the wonderful ones I've seen and heard about from you) or to have private ones and share with only those you see to be active (be it chat or wherever)

Or we can maybe form some groups, I still prefer the Private idea.

Don't feel like you are the only one with this frustration :)

Other words of praise work too right? Will I be shot down for calling someone awesome? :P

I do not say thank you to everything I enter. If I have nothing to say about something I'm entering for, I've never really felt the need to increase the mindless 'Thank you.' spam.

That said - I have thanked people for giveaways I haven't entered if they're amazing games I really enjoyed etc.

There would also be a far more substantial and heart-felt thank you should I ever actually win something. The 'thanks' spam is just another reason that even in real life, I feel like on its own, and even dressed up and expanded upon the word has lost its value.

"Thank you for giving this game away out of sheer philanthropy, even if it is only worth a dollar."

That's what the thanks is for.

I'd rather have a few people have genuine comments on a giveaway than a hundred "Thanks!"

This so much.
I never felt the need to just post a mindless "Thanks" when 400+ people already did.

It shouldn't matter if 4 or 4,000 said thank you. It's still polite.

Better a "Thank you" that nothing in my opinion. Whith the first you show that you value the giveaway (and the giver) at least some seconds of your life...
