Hello. It's me, TheLuckyShamrock. You may remember me from my previous thread, where I was asking you (yes, you....specifically you....especially you!) to help me choose a game to buy from my wishlist. You were really helpful with your advices and, even though I didn't answer to everyone, I read everyone's comments. So, I decided to buy almost everything, as you can see in the link above. Others were bought as uplay games, others were played in a friend's pc and were removed from the list in that thread, others were really bad (like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - avoid it like the plague) and were removed from the list in that thread, and others were obviously bought on steam. Thing is that my wishlist now is smaller than the portions that they serve in most restaurants and it needs to get fat and chubby again! So, pretty please, help me find a game to put in my wishlist. I have played much more games than the ones you can find in my steam account, so checking my steam profile won't help you. Just tell me a good game that you think it's good and you personally liked, that's all. I mostly prefer adventure point and click games, but any suggestion is welcome. Just avoid suggesting me games without a storyline or anime games.
Also, here's a giveaway for my favorite horror game ever. The game's title starts with a "P" and ends with "ENUMBRA". :B The giveaway is behind a really easy puzzle. Don't worry, the giveaway has no restrictions at all, as always. Have fun!

Too many. You know though that the wishlist is meant to include the games you really want, not all the steam titles ever released, right?

Well, have a small review spam. I won't listen reasons why I enjoyed the games here but you can click the link to find out ^^ :

Didn't check your llibrary but those are rather unknown (excluding the last one) so there is a good chance you haven't played them yet.

I don't like anime, as I said. Why Am I Dead At Sea looks cute though. I've read your review about it. ;)

Hm, sorry. I seem to have skipped that part. If you mean the sprites those are the only parts which remind for an anime. Although to be fair there .... is an anime about the game but the game was first.

Ohhh! If you haven't played The Swapper yet, I highly recommend it. The artwork looks pretty awful, but the game is absolutely amazing... Now I want to play it again!

You don't have to read this (my review) but I highly recommend checking it out to see if you're really not interested:

The Begginer's Guide is fantastic (I recomend that you don't see anything about it, just play it)
Spec Ops: The Line: also has an awesome storyline
One Thousand Lies: is incredible too (has anime charaters, but is not a dating sim)
The Stanley Parable (same creater as The Begginer's Guide)

And my favorite game of Steam: To The Moon

If The Begginer's Guide is similar to The Stanley Parable, then I would prefer to avoid it, because I didn't like The Stanley Parable at all. :P
Played Spec Ops: The Line already. Wasn't amazed.
I said I don't want anime, so it's a NO for One Thousand Lies. xD
I have watched a gameplay video of To The Moon. It's decent, but I already know what's happening in the game. xD

Actually, The Begginer's Guide is not similar to The Stanley's Parable, the concept of having a narrator is kept, but the rest is almost completely different.

Probably the Deponia's, though I guess you've played that. Favorite story is Knights of the Old Republic II, but that's a RPG, not an adventure.
Having said that; no idea about the movie (guess I don't watch a lot of movies) and my wishlist is fairly gigantic; if only cause I use it as an easy list to check for on this site here than something of a "I really want these games"... definitely not buying them from Steam either due to their mobile authenticator.

I'm a Daedalic fanboy, so yeah, I have played it. xD
And, wait, what does the mobile authenticator have to do with it? o.O

Not wanting to grant Valve any more of my money for treating me like a second-rate citizen for not having a mobile phone.
Guess Humble Bundle, GMG, Bundlestars, Indiegala etc. are sure glad with Valve's decision though.

Some of my favorite games with stories are Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons, Dust: An Elysian Tail, The Longest Journey, and The Cat Lady. Brothers doesn't technically have a story told with words, but I still enjoyed the story told through the gameplay.

Dust is mainly a platformer/brawler, but I really enjoyed the art style and characters, the story was alright as well. There was a lot more dialogue than I thought there was going to be. I also am a sucker for metroidvanias which made me like it even more.

The Cat Lady is one of my favorite point and clicks of all time, but it's not like a classic point and click adventure. It is much more of an interactive story and doesn't really have much for puzzles, more of just finding objects you need to use to progress the story. I think the main reason I enjoyed it so much is because of the subject matter and the fact that it is so different. I get bored of playing the same kind of games all the time and look for new ideas or subject matter and I really loved the dark atmosphere dealing with depression and suicide. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up watching 5 or 6 let's plays after completing it. It's definitely not for everyone though.

I have Dust, but it looks a bit anime, so I really don't wanna play it. x)
The Cat Lady doesn't look promising. It looks like one of those small cheap games that I'd play only if I was really bored. I'll check out a gameplay video of it though. Also, you may want to check out Fran Bow then. Anna's Quest too. :D

I don't really play anime games either. I don't consider Dust an anime game, it really reminded me of a good SNES game. All the characters are animals, so if anything it's a furry game :) You should watch a short gameplay video, it's just a sidescrolling brawler with a story and I think they did a good job on the voice acting. Dust wakes up with no memory and finds a talking sword and an animal that is supposed to protect the sword who becomes his companion. The rest of the story is him going to different towns to try and find out who he is and helping the local people.

I have Anna's quest and it is in my list of games to play. I have been very interested in Fran Bow for a while and still looking for a copy.

I've checked Dust already. I even like platformer games, but this game is not even close to what I like. xD
Both Fran Bow and Anna's Quest are awesome. And Anna's Quest is from the awesome Daedalic company. ^_^

Point and clicks from Daedalic are some of my favorites, I still have quite a few to play in my backlog. When I get the time I need to play through the Deponia series.

adventure point and click games

I'm not sure if you have it, here goes nothing:

  • Daedalic Games
  • Brothers the tale of two sons
  • Don't Starve (more like Survival game)
  • Mechanika
  • Broken Age
  • Lumino City

Also, I only have 9 games on my wishlist atm :^)

I bought them all separately. Just look at how many Daedalic games I have. I even have the ones that they have only published and not developed. xD I'll check out the game, but I'm not promising anything. x)

I have over 100 wishlisted games but most of that is over expensive crap.
South Park: The Stick of Truth but you probably already played that.
Red Faction games Had no clue that they made a movie about these games too which I recently saw on TV.
The Bureau XCOM Didn't like the game personally because it was too focused on the story instead of gameplay, it is somewhat similar to mass effect.

246.

Because it's too much f-ing hassle to clear it out. You have to remove each one individually. And then it has to reload the whole freaking page, and you lose your spot so you have to scroll back down. Each and every time.
