Correct. He should consume large quantities of cheese instead and stay away from apples and oats.

I have the game but it completely destroys the computer I'm currently on.

I'm not always on the PC that can handle it, but if you add me I'll let you know when I can. It's every thursday night about 5-7PM (-5 Eastern time)

Cr of Fear has co-op?
I've seen some gameplay, all it is is cheap scares.

I was terrified of the atmosphere. It's beautifully put together. Cheap scares are part of it.

I've played some of it and I have to say I kinda agree with you. Most of the time it's a cheap scare but there's a few moments where it's actually a scary game. Some of the atmosphere gives me the chills but it's quickly ruined by high pitched screaming or enemies appearing by breaking down walls, doors, ect.

I just really really really hate how most of the time the enemies (from what I've played) only appear by breaking down walls, doors, ect. I've only been scared by an enemy once and that was by running out of fear due to the atmosphere and ran right into him (no wall/door breaking he was just standing in the map).

In my opinion the devs needed make the game less of these "breaking x encounters". I mean it's scary the first few times, but then it just becomes predictable.

I played it coop with my friend. We had a blast because the game was so stupid.
A flying bed with a monster strapped to it and it's throwing stuff at you.
Good game if you wanna make fun of how stupid it is, and if you want to play it as a horror game, don't.
Though apparently, single-player is not as bad.

Don't get me wrong, I love the HL series (both HL1 and HL2), but this mod... seriously. If I played it without knowing it's a half-life mod, I would have never guessed. And I'm not commenting on the graphics or any of these stuff. It just feels like a 7 year old designed all the monsters and locations.
Also, as I said, I don't know if single-player is as bad as the co-op.

Single player is way better than co-op, but the models remain the same if you are wondering.

Just because it's Half-Life doesn't excuse the silly enemies. The game is great, but as stated above the flying bed monster is just silly. Half-Life's enemies are more scarier.

But I don't think the game is stupid, it's actually a great piece of work for a mod.
