I ended up with some great new friends to bolster the activity feed from the last thread, so I'll happily go for this again!
I've not been doing much gaming lately, but I'm still getting a little time in and sharing screenshots and reviews when I finish games. More than happy to add more friends who also post screenshots and reviews, just let me know with a reply here or comment on Steam so I know to accept the requests :)

Considering the past year and a half where people around the world have been extremely restricted in their social interactions, I find it more shocking that you have a problem with a thread that's promoting and improving social interaction between gamers, having a positive impact on mental health, while ignoring the blatant "depressing and sad" comment just a couple of comments above.

At no point in time anywhere did I mention there's a problem with a thread promoting these things, the issue is it's the exact same thread as one that's been open for months and being bumped. So one more time, the issue is that there's two threads open for the same topic with almost the exact word for word text.

I understand that it's a duplicate thread. It was my first thought when I saw it too. That's really not what I'm pointing out though. The problem is that, while a duplicate, the thread is very positive, promoting interactions between gamers in a time where human interaction is scarce. Unfortunately, you decided to focus on the duplicate side of things while completely ignoring the negative, off-topic, nonsense troll comment from above. Someone who's shaming others for wanting more interaction on Steam. One of these things is much more damaging than the other.

I came to this thread because someone on Steam brought it to my attention that it was a duplicate, which is against SG guidelines.
Spam. Do not repeatedly post content to increase visibility. This also includes creating multiple discussions for content that could be more appropriately consolidated into a single discussion.
As for the comments on this thread I didn't read any when I came to it, I just looked at the OP in both threads and then posted my comment. While the comment by IMONE is negative the reply from eMpY where they refer to IMONE as Karen isn't good either as it's a negative term that's race related.
Personal attacks or hate speech. Threats, harassment, and slurs (e.g. insults towards a user's race, sexual orientation, or gender) are not allowed.
I'm going to post this issue to the SG support discussion boards so it's brought to the attention of the whole SG support team for discussion.

I think you didn't understood the Karen meme, it's an annoying person who get's mad at someone for unreasonable reasons. Usually the racist is "Karen" not otherwise. You can call Karen to anyone who has bad behaviour for the sake of it, it doesn't matter the race nor the gender.
If IMONE were a middled aged white woman and eMpY knew it, then I would consider it racist, but I don't think this is the case lol

Let's improve the steam activity feed
This is a little project to improve the steam activity feed for each of us.
By now there are +50 people you can add in this topic.
What is it about?
We are people who want to have their steam related news feed to be filled.
Some of us share screenshots, reviews, imposter and scam-method alerts. Others buy games in sales to inspire you to get new and cheap games. You can ask for advice or simply find new friends from all over the world.
Is it mandatory to frequently post stuff?
No but if there is no one putting in some effort, we are going nowhere.
So I ask you to try to share small things if you can.
Quality > quantity
How does it work?
If you're interested in participating, you simply leave a link to your steam profile in this topic.
The only good way is to add newly arrived people instead of waiting to be added by them!
Important
Therefore, it would be wise that new people get added by us instead of us waiting to get added by them. They would need days to add all of us. So I ask you to look into this topic every now and then and add the new folks arriving here. You could bookmark this topic for example.
