Keeping this as short as possible...

I'm currently awaiting my FOURTH Razer Naga mouse because they're always fucking broken... Every single one I get is malfunctioning in some way.

This started almost 9 months ago, it's taken NINE mine and I still don't have my fourth mouse yet, this is how SLOW they are on their RMAs. I told them I'm absolutely sick of waiting and I just want my money back at this point so I can go buy a Steel Series mouse or something, because their products are garbage and I have a suspicion my fourth will also be fucking busted.

After ripping them on Facebook, Twitter, email and on the phone, I finally get a shipment confirmation, thinking "oh hey, I may finally get my replacement!" but then...

THIS HAPPENS...

/pat for what happened
But, if they are always broken and malfunctioning in some way why don't you pick something else?

The replacements are free, I spent $80 on the mouse, I can't just throw it away and spend another chunk of change on a mouse like that :(

If you ever decide to change mouse , have spent hundreds on logitech and they've all made me proud.

In the past five years I've had 3 Logitech mice. The 2 of them died and the 3rd one is on it's last legs. They were not the premium models but I still think this is inexcusable. I either have really bad luck wth Logitech or their low-mid end models are junk. Does anyone have any advice about another good manufacturer?

Logitech's RMA service is amazing. They replaced my old dead MX518 with a brand new shiny G400 :3

Logitech g500, purchased on some kind of ridiculous combination of promotions for $5 maybe 2 years ago. Still working phenomenally. Logitech never disappoints me.

I moved on to Logitech after 3 Microsoft mice died on me within a year or so each. (Well, the left click died on me actually) Actually bought 2 of those, the 3rd one was an RMA of the 2nd. They simply sent me a new mouse by mail, never even requesting to get the old one back. Got a logitech G500 a couple year's ago and couldn't be happier. I was wary of trying them out though since their low-end mice are pure crap.

Dude , why do you need that much buttons on mouse...
If you're a casual gamer and you want nice looking mouse ... go for roccat kone (or kone+)
I've been using Kone for about 2 and half years , no problems whatsoever ... although steelseries are neat mice aswell :)

They don't make gaming mice but Taargus have great customer services. I spilt my drink on my 18 month old mouse and they sent me a new, better one within a week.

I've spoken to multiple people, but every time I ask to speak to a manager the CSR says that they "aren't available" and "don't know where they are at the moment" when I said I'll hold.

And the RMA department doesn't have a phone number to call, it's seriously HELL dealing with them.

It seems that they are dodging you and not try to deal with the problem. Ive always wanted to buy a Razor Onza from them, this makes me think other wise.

One more datapoint: I've had a Razer Lachesis, the same Razer Lachesis, for ~5.5 years.

For the past 3 years I've been working from home ~8 hours * 5 days a week on top of my gaming/internet time.

tl;dr based on my experience 100% of Razer mice last for over 5 years and 1000s of hours of use.

To be honest it's always hit or miss. Some people have mice of all kinds break very quickly. I've had my Deathadder for 4 or 5 years now, still working perfectly.

lol Beanie.
When my Deathadder died after 1 month I replaced it with Naga Epic. Bought it because it had wireless mode. Aaaand it didn't work as wireless, support told me 4 times to reinstall drivers, and one time to update firmware. It slowly died after 4 months of use. Returned it and bought SS Sensei and Razer BlackWidow, both for price of Naga (yes, its still Razer but fine mechanical keyboard). Happy now. And my friend had the same story with Naga after 3-4 months of use.
TL;DR based on my experience 75% of Razer mice are bad

My first gaming mouse was a Diamondback, busted after a year, it would spam click non-stop like it was its damn job. Last year I bought a Razer Mamba (that shit was expensive), busted after 5 months, the lazor wouldn't fire anymore. Razer: Crapware.

Does the beanie have useless LED lights in it? Maybe displays on the monitors in case you're staring at your keyboard rather than the screen? Perhaps a 18 ear-warmers, when you clearly only really need 2?

My husband and I went through 3 Razer Habus (2him & 1me), then we switched to Logitech, and were still on our first Logitech each after 2+ years. I'll never buy another Razer mouse again. Also, we got one free replacement, and gave our friends the other serials to get 2 more replacements from the Habus.

Don't buy a SteelSeries product, dude. I just returned their 6GV2 mechanical keyboard after the Num, Caps, and Scroll locks started randomly going on and off (both the lights and the functions). The lettering wearing off the keys after less than two days of just typing is pretty crap, too - "laser-etched" my arse. Wasn't impressed with their "tech support", either - they talk like a bunch of 10 year olds who just discovered l33t speak or something. Blech.
