Let me just say the filter is EXTREMELY convenient. Not because I don't know, but because the vast majority of giveaways are for games I own.

Fair enough, /I/ normally only ever check the front page and I can just remember all the games Ive played. Wouldn't make much difference to me if I had 500 instead.

Yeah this addon is awesome. I downloaded Chrome specifically for it (because I cbf to bother with greasemonkey for Firefox). I use it to filter out things like DLC for games I don't own.

There's a computational and rendering problem that you'd encounter. It also makes it harder to know what to do when you click on 'page 2' etc of how to render each consecutive page etc.

It's easier to put all that work onto the client side.
