thanks man for your kind wishes

you can use the same phrase as a wish or response (Ramadan Mubarak )

, basically it's a month in the hijri calender that muslims have to fast
it translates to Blessing Ramadan

"must" but should fast (no eating and drinking while the sun is up). it's not sinning at all to not fast, basically it's for purify your bio-system and get to the point of experiencing what people without food have to go through. cause once you know you won't be able to turn an eye on starving people, same as (example:) gettting your heart broken. once you experience that you don't want anyone else to feel the same misery.
edit: fasting in ramadan if you want so is a good deed. if you don't fast, it's not a sin, but not good either.

it's true that it's one of the pillars, but "kafiir" is more like a reference to someone who has betrayed the religion. I studied the quran in a mosque my whole childhood till i turned 13 so I gotta know.

Whoever does not fast in Ramadaan without being sick or having any other excuse that allows him not to fast is more evil than the adulterer or drunkard....

that's bull too^^ the excuse part is right so far but "more evil than the adulterer or drunkard" is non-sense. In the quran it is said that god (allah) gave you your body and you are not to harm which is not your property. alcohol for example is forbidden for that reason and because it changes the state of your mind, it is referred to as "easy game for satan". and not fasting is not harming the body = argument invalid

in fact you can wish, whatever you wish to a christian, to a moslem. real moslems don't see a problem in that because jesus is a prophet just as mohammad is. only fanatic, stupid shits would be offended and i highly doubt those people truly understand what the islam is about.

It's already down to early June? Damn, it seems like if it was only a few years ago when it was announced in late fall in the news.

Ramadhan Mubarak. Let's all religion live in harmony, because of some nut cases, certain religions are being criticized. For me, it's not what religion taught them to, it's one's fault. So, let's just respect each other, and live together happily. :)
