No, I'm not one month late with the news.

Personally, I'm kinda puzzled about this. They were making steady money while on Steam and pulling 60k players regularly. I'm curious to see how the things will change once they're Epic exclusive.

UPDATE:

"Update: While Epic’s original statement strongly hinted Rocket League would be pulled from Steam, the company now says it will announce "long-term plans" for the game in the future"

I do not understand the English language anymore.

Nothing surprising, a lot of devs abandon games earlier even after a few months and no one's refunding their buyers so Steam should do something against this, which would force a Developer by contract to support the game they sell in Steam store for 5-10 years after or whatever

Mac & Linux support for Rocket League has ended. It is now a Windows-only game as far as online play goes. If you bought it on steam and have actual mac/linux playtime in the game, you can get a refund through June 10, supposedly.

At least with Linux we have WINE/Proton to play Windows games... on Mac you'll have to dual-boot to Windows, I guess? Or is there a WINE/Proton build for Mac that works well enough?

Actually I was running it on a Virtual Machine (Parallels) for a while when it came out, before it got Mac support. Now, as I see, that won't be possible any more cause of directX 11. I guess there is no WINE since there wasn't any need until now for any (I wouldn't be optimistic about it either way). Dual-booting Windows (for those who are doing it) seems the only solution now.
