Minecraft-Like Infinite Voxel World in Unreal Engine 4

I'd actually argue that Minecraft with shaders looks better than this does. This just loses the pixel aesthetic. Pretty much every effect they use here is overdone. Ambient occlusion on flat pixel grass looks terrible... the bloom is so overdone that you can't even see the sky. God rays blinds you and the motion blur gives the impression that the player is drunk or something.

Sometimes simple is better if you ask me. Just because you can throw every effect imaginable at something doesn't mean you should.
