Homemade Ricotta Ravioli with DingaT's special sauce
Ravioli:
Mix 3 eggs with 2 cups of flour. Knead until it's completely mixed. (add water if necessary)
Flatten into long streaks
Place Ricotta cheese at regular intervals
Fold closed, cut into pieces
Place in boiling water for about 7 minutes
Sauce:
1 tub pesto
1 tub mascarpone
1 package of frozen spinach
Gorgonzola Dolce (to taste)
Mix the above ingredients in a saucepan, and gently heat.

I'd rather they get their infection elsewhere, but Barbie makes it better. i still have 1 somewhere from when I was a little girl. It's either the one I cut all the hair off or the one that's brunette, can't remember

No, the good thing is being little =)) It doesnt matter if your a boy or a girl, tho a boy with a barbie in his hands doesnt seem natural to me =)

I used to steal my brother's Action Man, or whatever that was, and he nicked my Barbies. I think it was more about annoying each other, though.
I think it doesn't matter if a kid wants to play with a particular toy, be it a Barbie or a toy car. What matters is, that people tend to try and steer us towards genderstereotypical (is that a word?) things, and that's meh. Is a way to ruin the fun.

Well the system is more unfair to boys, because if a girl is playing with guns and cars, people sat,
"Oh... It's so cute"
If a boy hugs a doll, and wears mothers high heels ( not that i would know or anything =))) ) People dont really react the same =)
Tho i remember reading that most children chose their stereotypic gender toys by free will. But i do know girls that really liked shooting more than any dolls =))

I think the system is not more unfair to boys.
It's unfair to everyone.
Kids are steered toward those toys by people pretty much all the time, and it doesn't have to be intentionally done to work. It's somethin that our societies have established and is normal. If it's not our parents it's Kindergarten and TV etc.

I don't really have an Idea how to change it. Only thing I can do when I have kids - to pay attention to what I'm doing and starting out with neutral colours.

Having lived in Italy for quite a few years in the past, I got spoilt with home-made pasta of various kinds.
While my favourite is the same as yours (and if you ever had a real carbonara in Rome, you won't be able to eat any other), I also love farfalle with gorgonzola, and linguine with pesto (but only a genuine Genovese pesto).
It also curious how people believe that "spaghetti bolognesi" is a traditional Italian recipe, while nobody in Italy (or at least in Bologna, where I used to live) would even dream of any other pasta than tagliatelle with that kind of sauce. The sauce itself is also quite different from what you can find here in England (even in Britalian restaurants).

Favorite is a big word, and if you asked my top 5 anything I'd be ???, I honestly don't know how people can pull that off so easily, so have something that hopefully will be less than stereotypical
