I know that I'm probably going to get people thinking "what a stereotypical piece to like," but Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor appears to pop up on my music player a lot. I guess it's because I really enjoy the second part of it, but it is a very nice piece of music.
If I had to pick 1 piece in particular that's my favourite, I would be hard pressed since I haven't been listening very long. I guess there's a clear answer waiting, but I'll make a decision some other day.
Oh! One piece I am enjoying a lot actually is Pachabel's Canon in D. It's really good, I just wish I understood more about music to understand why it's a true canon.
Purcell's Rondeau is also really nice, it's just a shame that his end was so soon as I really think we could have heard a lot of great music from him.
I would be quite thankful if someone could explain an oratorio to me, I see it appearing quite often and I'd like to understand it since I'd say it's the word I see repeat most.
