The only name I could find for it was "logic grid" puzzles.
I don't think there is an actual name for them other than that. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

EDIT: I could try and help you find/make more if you would like. I have a lot of free time and really love puzzles.

We have a kind of "official" name in French which is Logigram, so that's why I thought I could find one in English.
I'll make some research with "logic grid" ^^ Well, if you love them too, it could be fun to find some in your language as well ^^

I know the solution to the puzzle, but I have absolutelly no idea how to use the table to get the correct letters for the giveaway O.o Any hints, lol? :D

Nevermind, figured it in the end. Nice and easy puzzle (I like that!), but the table is really confusing in my opinion ;)

Yeah, i know I used to put cross and circle in the table, and I didn't specified it because I thought everyone was doing the same, but people might solve it differently and so it doesn't appear as I would like :/

Bump for solved, and for being a filthy greedy peasant! Oh wait, I'm bumping... I don't know who I am anymore.
Edit: The chart/diagram is confusing me as hell, but I still managed to solve it through logic somehow.

you fell in the trap :D

It's a specific type of puzzle which always come with a chart like that, but i understand it might be weird if you never did some before. I'll post the solution and link to it if I make a puzzle like that next time :)

They were simply called "logic puzzles" in the book I had. I don't know if they have other names too, wouldn't surprise me.

In French it's called "Logigram" (logic and diagram ?) and you can buy book of it <3 I thought it might have a "official" name in English too
Thanks for the help :) !

Don't give up :) !
That table is actually supposed to help you to deduct things. You put a cross in the square which link two statements which are wrong, and a circle in two statements which are true. So, in a 3x3 square, you're supposed to have 3 circle and 6 cross :)

Marking didn't help at all, but your other post with "Oldest to youngest" finally did, won't enter though because I'll buy that bundle^^....
Still really curious about the soloution because I have no Idea how the bottom matrix/table should help in any way^^
