Haven't really tried virtual card games.But I did watch a bit of that Gwent card game in Witcher 3 at my cousin's place. Looks pretty good.
Edit: he spends more time playing and collecting cards for Gwent than doing quests in Witcher 3.

I forgot to provide my opinion on digital card games.
I played the shit out of the Pokemon TCG on my Game Boy Color. Hands of Fate is pretty high on my wishlist.
Giving Hearthstone a "meh" though since I'm not much of a multiplayer person; besides, I dislike the business model.
EDIT: also, Card City Nights was pretty good!

Faerie Solitaire is about as fancy of digital card games as I have gone. I did enjoy it though!
