It's that time of year again where I am going through my music library and changing things up. I'm looking to explore some new bands/music so I would love recommendations, or just to hear the bands/music that you like. Please specify which you're doing. If you're recommending, I don't really know what style I like, but I don't like screamo or anything constantly talking about sex, drugs, or swearing. Besides that, I'm at least open to most stuff.

Some of my favorites are:

We the Kings

Linkin Park

Lifehouse

OneRepublic

Fall Out Boy

Those might be able to help you narrow down my "style", thanks!

Oh...sorry.
I only now realized that you actually meant those kinds of bands.
Well...i don't have a certain band that i like, but i'm mostly interested in Screamo/Death Metal with lyrics themes based on sex, drugs and violence, with lots of swearing.
That and One Direction.

I'm a fan of the mellow stuff. It has to be something that gives me a feeling on the inside, but that's different for everyone.

Disturbed, Dope, Iron Maiden, Arctic Monkeys, The Doors, Queen.. Its very hard to ask someone's favorite bands.. if u ask favorit musics It would be so much easier. Its like I love Lonely Boy from The Black Keys, but that the only music I know from them.. so I cant name them as favorite while I listen that music every day!

I was gonna say Linkin Park, but I see you already like'em. How about the classics: Metallica, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Rammstein, Red Hot Chilli Peppers? I also like the more recent and mellow Coldplay and Maroon 5. As you can see I am a lover of rock music, but I like most generes. Except house music, dub-step and the like. I just can't understand that kind of shit. Also, f you wanna try something non-English/American, I'd recommend Juanes. He sings in Spanish, but he combines Columbian folk music with rock in such an awesome manner, you can't help but love him. At least that's my opinion.

myspace.com/strapontools/music/songs <-- My old band might be something you'd like based on your taste...

Yes, I know... Myspace... But like I said "my old band", so myspace was big when we were touring.

Edit: Apparently this board doesn't do HTML, so plaintext it is...
