What was the first online game you ever played?

It was either Age of Empires or Asheron's Call. I was addicted to both for quite some time.

Duke Nukem 3D for me...and I made a triple suicide with 3 rockets launch in row....

I think it used to be a ps3 game. Maybe little big planet or call of duty black ops. Loved both of them

So much time wasted there :X but I kinda miss it when nostalgia takes over...

Doom/Quake/Unreal for FPS, whichever came first with the online function, I don't remember ;)
For RPG, a F2P one, named Flyff or something similar. Terrible P2W MMORPG, played it for couple of months, but it did eventually lead me to try WoW: spent there 3 or 4 wonderful years (quit during Cataclysm expansion).

Tibia

Not sure which one was the first, but it's either Dark Colony, AoE II or Warzone 2100 with my father. First online with unknown people was either Mu Online or CS 1.6.

I played SRO - Silkroad Online as my first online game, followed by the early incarnation of Runescape :D

Ultima Online

Neverwinter Nights if I remember correctly.

Soldier of fortune 2: double helix.

On LAN I clearly remember it was Duke Nukem 3D, what a great time. Online it was Yahtzee I guess, in late 90's.

Tales of pirates, i still feel the pain of the pay 2 win

I played those and the Miniclip game Robot Rage way before any other online game.

either Warcraft 2 or 1st Diablo. I played some older games that had multiplayer but it was in times when I had no internert access, internet was very expensive in smaller cities like one I grew up in and it took several years before internet cafes emerged outside of big cities, so even if I knew these games I was playing single-player only, eventually local multiplayer ;)

Otherwise Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

and the first dungeon siege and the first Ghost Recon 2001/2002

These games got me into online gaming and i never stopped since i barely ever play single player or offline coop, i'm a real online gamer 100%.

For anyone that mentioned Tibia, I was just recommended this on my youtube for some reason.
