What was the first online game you ever played?

Played it when it first came out and still play it sometimes.

Maplestory. I've played SP games before that but my friends roped me into playing Maplestory with them.

Well, not really "online" but with network multiplayer, Duke nukem 3D (the first one). First over Internet was Counter Strike or Unreal Tournament don't remember.

As truth to be told, the first game over internet that I ever played was a MUD (text based)

Not entirely sure, but probably Counter-Strike 1.6 or Unreal Tournament. Maybe even Dawn of Myth, if browser based games count.

Diablo 2

Oh wow hm... it was called Tibia I think? It was a 2D mmo that was a bit of an Ultima clone graphically. I remember the community was amazing but after a bunch of bad updates, a lot of people left, me included

I think it was counter strike but with zombies; uncertain which one though and I was horrible at it, as I am now.

Can't remember if it was either Mu Online (When the Dark Mage was released) or Rakion, but it was ono those two.

Delta Force Black Hawk Down with my older brother. Bought the game on Steam after several years and the multiplayer is terrible LOL!

I cant remember if it was C&C Red Alert 1 or Duke Nukem 3D or quake 1.

It was in '97 or so, back on AOL Online through dialup. Some weird free MMO game where the only customization was choosing a head (like 'Yoshi' head, cow head, etc.), and you got 2 lives and 2 grenades as starting items.

Honestly, I cannot remember the very first game as my memory is kinda spotty. My best guess, is that it was a DOS game on my dads "work" computer. Probably one of these: Clyde's Adventure, Alien Carnage, Jetpack, Mystic Towers, or even Blinky 3. Early 90s PC gaming and freeware and DOS <3
