Dead Hard might still be the most used exhaustion perk after the update.. they're actually buffing the dodging hits part of it but removing the distance part.. and even then you'll get a little distance if you time the dodge correctly because you'll get a speed boost. I plan to try it out. Doesn't seem like that bad off a change honestly, but I wish they buffed at least one of the low tier exhaustion perks to encourage people to use something else (like smash hit, head on, or balanced landing)

it takes skill to use dh for unpredictable dodging, Im fine with the change. The speed boost is a nice reward for the hard work.

Yes, some are noisier in general, some are way noisier only when injured, etc. Jeff, Ashley and Bill are really noisy.
Ace is the overall most silent surv with Detective Tapp.
About the girls I've read Kate and Cheryl are the quietest if I'm not mistaken.

BBQ isn't that bad without the BP bonus. Surprised it didn't get a small buff to compensate though. WGLF got a pretty nice buff to compensate the BP loss so it's a bit weird.. Should be simple to buff it, just add a couple of seconds to the aura reading

the main difference was that chili was used a LOT and WGLF not so much. by removing BP bonus, chili will still be used considering how effective it was, and WGLF even less, so they had to buff it so it stays relevant
If you want more aura readings, they buffed "lethal pursuer" and now it adds 2 more seconds for aura readings, wich is quite strong with any aura perk actually

They probably buffed lethal pursuer because Darkness Revealed just came out and it was the superior perk. I get what you mean about BBQ but I think a couple more seconds of aura reading would still help and wouldn't break the perk. I think both BBQ and WGLF were essential for bloodpoints before the new prestige system. I never play without WGLF if I need BP because you get barely any BP as survivor. Maybe it won't be as necessary with the grind reduction, still sucks though

Here is the thing, BBQ was solely used for the BP. That was the reason it was considered a meta perk. Without it, it'll fall out very quickly as the aura reading was just a plus.
Honestly, as I've been maining Scratched Mirror Myers, I'll be fine without BBQ since I'll just stalk for the auras and I use Iron Maiden as extra info

WGLF originally only had one use, for BP. It wasn't until years later that they added a healing speed effect for people in the dying state. I'd say it was purely used for BP longer than BBQ was. While I think more people are using BBQ for the BP gain, it's still used by some people for the auras, it's just not as essential for that now because other perks accomplish the same job.
I think some people will still use BBQ, it just won't be anywhere near as frequent. Meanwhile I'll probably keep WGLF in most of my builds because it basically has soul guard built into it which is an incredible buff if you play with SWF. It's got a lot of utility and possibilities where your friends can bodyblock the killer

Bubba's chapter has been recommended to new players to get solely for BBQ for years now, due to the BP bonus. My point is that the only reason it was even meta is going away hence its now dead.
When I do play survivor, I'm solo Q so WGLF was always extremely useless for my playstyle as games never got to the point that it'd be actually useful. I'd rather run coh, which will after the changes give faster healing than self care again

why is no one talking about the dead nerf of Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance is there something i didn't got?
they removed the exploding and screaming of survivors and you will still have to find a damn scourge hook to activate it, i think i will replace it with Pop Goes the Weasel, not only removes it 5% more from generators, you also don't need to find a damn scourged hook and can use it very efficiently, if you fight over a gen with survs

I tried using the app with the steelseries headset I bought recently and it was causing my games to lag and made my mic sound terrible if I had Sonar enabled (you need it enabled to adjust their virtual surround sound or game/chat mixer). Probably the worst audio software I've ever used. I think it requires a fairly high end PC/CPU from what I've read.
So yeah.. I guess I'm keeping it installed only for giveaways and firmware updates lol.. not for actual steelseries product features

The steelseries app, the steelseries GG one, i believe is for a forum type / giveaway rather than steelseries product features and yes, for me also game freeze, sound messed up, lagging, not good all around.

Nah, steelseries GG has everything included in it. The extra features are disabled by default though, so you don't have to worry about stuff like Sonar slowing down your PC unless you intentionally enable it.
GG is just the new steelseries app they use for everything. I believe the old app they used to use was Engine, but there's no need for that anymore since they put the engine feature in the GG app
