Actually for some casino games you have a much better probability of winning than opening cases even. But for both you have to remember that the more you play/pay, the more the house will always win in the end. More people should learn some statistics imo

ty! I always try and help people avoid the Gaben money pit. So here, two more things to help convince you never to open cases again.
1) The contents of a case are pre-determined. Meaning that the case isn't randomizing itself when you open it. What you get from a case if what you were ALWAYS going to get from it, no matter what. That means that all those other weapon skins you see fly by? Yeah, they're lies meant to trick you into thinking you could have gotten them.
2) Here is the statistical breakdown of how likely you are to receive which tier of skins (approximately)
Blue (Mil-spec): 73.02%
Purple (Restricted): 20.75%
Pink (Classified): 5.17%
Red (Covert): 0.957%
Knife: 0.103%
The chances are so low that, on average, most people spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on keys in order to get a knife. That makes sense, their rarity is what keeps their price high in the first place! But this means you'll almost always be better off buying the knife outright from the market than trying to get one from a case.

not exactly. I had some savings. something bad happend and then I spend all of it. Yeah I learned my lesson a while ago with Vanguard cases. Opened over 70 cases and the best thing I got was a Stattrak Sawed-off Highwayman. Never again :(

Did you at least get something that you like? Once when I opened up a few TF2 crates, one gave me a strange Rainblower. Though I was out a few bucks, I ended up with a strange version of a weapon that I like very much. Of course the other two things were pieces of shit. xD
