Steam market value and TF2 trading value are different. For example, #1 crates were selling for about 1.70 when they could be sold for almost as much as a key, which is about 2.45. And you can buy cards for scraps, which are about 2 or 3 cents each, for massive profit.
I'd say go with the ToD if you want to do TF2 trading. Otherwise go by market value.

In it's bare essence, ToD tickets sell much quicker and many more tf2 players would prefer it over SoG, and dota 2 and csgo players dont even bother with either items.
