it's very simple, 3 steps:
1) you make and asset flip and price it at 50$ - 100$ - 250$ whatever you like, just not too small a price tag because that would be too slow and you want to maximize theft before it's caught
2) steal or buy stolen credit cards on the net
3) buy your own "game" with the stolen cards, and that's how you get paid.
if anyone thinks "developers" of such games actually expect real people to buy these games on a regular enough basis and at the listed price to make a living, they are too naive
sometimes steam will crack down on these games, and sometimes they just take their cut
