As you know the interface of Humble Choice is different from the previous Humble monthlies. Now you have to "claim" every game one by one (in the case Classic it's just all of them). Then the key gets visible - whereas with Monthly all keys were just sitting there hidden until you clicked on them.

I wonder if this additional step of claiming a game means that the key gets tied to your region, so you can't make a general giveaway anymore? Any info on that?

Region is determined on where the buyer is from, not if you claim a key or make a gift link. Not every game has region locks.

Edit: You can still gift and dont have to claim a key. And its the same with choice, your games will remain there if you dont claim right away.

Ok. I gifted Blasphemous to my son and saw that it was region restricted. That's why I thought that this will maybe be the case for all keys/gifts in Humble Choice. But if I understand you correctly the rules concerning region locks haven't changed with the new format.

sensualshakti is pretty fast with posting about regions in every humble thread. Just bear in mind that it can deviate sometimes. The info usualy comes from subs from steamdb and sometimes there can be minor differences that are later corrected when users tell OP.

Thanks a lot. I'll keep that in mind.

I'm more curious what happens if you don't claim a game before the month is over.
Not so much for the legacy people, but say someone buys the 3-game option, and only picks 2. HB can't simply keep keys for all options forever, can they?

I'm also wondering what happens in that case. How long can you not claim / gift a choice for before it disappears?
