Or did I just paid for something that's now free, without getting any kind of recompensation?

EDIT: Looks like I DID get the DLC. It's just that it didn't pop up in the account history, and in-game.

Why should you get something? Do you think that you should get money back if you buy a game then that game goes on sale?

That game its not on sale, its free forever.
And he gave money for that game, its just not fair.

it is fair, they are allowed to give their game away for free whether it was once paid or not, i bought tf2 then it went f2p you don't see me complaining, at least he gets all the dlc for free

You should have gotten a bunch of DLC.
If you click here it should say you already own this.
The worst part is that your character is gone and you need to start over from scratch. :(
