Did the jigsaw but didn't see a link address as result

You mean you did not see a message come up at all?
Otherwise, if you got a message with 5 characters, it's the part of the default link you need in order to enter that particular giveaway (or in this case the train).
The default link for all giveaways looks like this https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/XXXXX/
Just replace the X's with the 5 characters on the message after the jigsaw and type it into your browser's address window.
[Edit] I just redid the jigsaw and it gave me the message.
- If you are at the completion screen click the green chat bubble icon and it will show you the message, it might have gotten clicked away, or just not triggered.
- If your image still looks like a jigsaw and you did not get a completion pop-up, try grabbing your puzzle and moving it around a bit, you might have a loose piece somewhere, it happens sometimes.
- If all else fails just click on the link on the OP again and redo the puzzle, the site might have glitched out for you for whatever reason.

Yes I didn't get a message... the cupcake just changed from jigsaw to picture without jigsaw lines and only option was to restart it. I was on my iPad ...

It might have to do with the device you're using or the browser on it.
I'd try giving it a go on the pc. ^-^
Alternatively if you're signed in with an account on jigidi I believe you can view your completed puzzles, and you might be given the option to see the message from there. Have not tried it myself tho.
