OP is correct. Even James Cameron's Avatar the game, which was actually co-developed by the movie producers and was to be the best movie -> game adaptions of all times, turned out to be a subpar game that showed the same symptoms as other movie -> game adaptions.

The only adaption I actually genuinly enjoyed was Wanted: Weapons of Fate. The movie was terrible, yes. But the game was unique and fun to play (even though it DID show the usual adaption symptoms as well).

Supernatural.I know,it's not a movie but a rpg with that theme would be awesome.

The only good movie-to-game adaptation that I heard of is Chronicles of Riddick.

The Chronicles of Riddick showed that games based off of movies don't have to suck. Sucker Punch...makes me think of that Chainsaw Lollipop game coming out. I'd actually like to see something like Shaolin Soccer or Kung Fu Hustle made into a game. Something silly, over the top and fun to play (if done right).

Insidious would be awesome as a game.

It would be an FPS game where you collect people and gather them into camps, then you organise a hunting game with different objectives and you get negative points if someone manages to escape from camp.

I'll worry about which movie should get a game once the BioShock movie is finally made.

Although it already has a (good) game adaption, I'd really like to see a "Blade Runner" game in the style of GTA!

I can also think of a Metropolis adventure.

Knights of the Old Republic was an awesome game based on a movie. They don't all suck!

The Mummy

I would actually like to see a re-made Saw game where you would play as Jigsaw and create the puzzles and either watch the computer solve them or post them online and let others attempt them.
