Summer Goblin and Coins marathon

Hello! It's me again with another GnC marathon. Let's hope more people gets involved this time, as I think we all had fun watching people play the last time and I hope they found their awards/gifts fair and to their liking.

In short,

• we're playing the game called Goblin and Coins,
• recording it and posting to YouTube as public videos.
• Description needs to have your SG username so I know it's your account (I do allow a member of your household to play "for you" as long as they use your Steam/YouTube account).
• Then you post link(s) to your video(s) here in a comment, and your username must match the username in YouTube description for the video(s).
• In the end I'll create a train and invite eligible people (and write down the list in the giveaway desc to prevent leaking and rules breaking).
• If you've already recorded videos for a previous event, you can re-use them now or make new ones if you wanna do it differently.
• Don't delete your videos because you'll be able to use them again if there's a next event!

This time the system is going to be a bit different, to allow for more flexibility. I'm going to create a one-way train, and boarding will start from the back, so people who are invited in the last car will have access only to that wagon (giveaway), but someone who's invited into the first class will have access to the entire train that comes after that car. I hope it's clear, but just in case, here's a table:

I will also create bunch of daily freebies, so stick around and check the first reply often. If there are any questions, feel free to ask... or you can check the previous event and read some tips and hints on recording, playing the game and so on.

How to record your gameplay?

• You need a software specialized for recording or a hardware capability implemented in your GPU drivers.
• For software solutions (might experience stuttering and bad framrates on low end computers) look up Fraps, OBS, Xsplit or SmartPixel and see what's best for you.
• Hardware solutions include H264 chips inside of your GPU that are utilized through GeforeExperience (nVidia cards) or AMD gaming evolved for AMD cards. You might have these already installed alongside your latest drivers.
• There are many tutorials on how to use these apps and it's not hard at all (specially if you're not using a webcam to show your face inside of the video (face cam)).

If you want your videos to appear in the game hub too (http://steamcommunity.com/app/551580/videos/) you have to go to your steam profile/videos and add them from there. It's easy enough, just connect to your youtube account (log in), select the video and select the game it's associated to, then click "add". That's it. Connection is not permanent, you can log out afterwards, add videos from other accounts later and so on.
