Are You Smarter Than a New Version?

Just a quick question.

I happen to own a version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader that is no longer for sale on Steam (appid: 12550). There is a new version that I've seen in giveaways with the same title, but different appid (361400). Is there any issue with entering these giveaways? I could see a gifter checking my Steam account, finding a game of the same name and reporting that I already had the game.

In worst case creator can reroll.

The question is if steam tells you that you already own the game, because if yes, there's no point in joining giveaways for that game (and better to hide them).

No, Steam does not indicate that I already own the game, since it's a different app id.
