A "thanks" is always appreciated when the winner takes the game, it should be obligated. When I win a game, I always give thanks, because we are a huge community, and it's like "good vibes" here. I barely found someone who didn't say "thanks" when he/she gets my games, but like I said, it's strange.
And the indie game, I love them <3 thanks for being one on this community :)
