Well, this a little trouble that I have with Ubisoft, I buyed a Season Pass for AC IV Black Flag (the game that they gifted in 2017), I bought the season pass in Nuuvem in 2019 and now I'm playing the game, but the additional content does not appear in the game although it does in my account where it tells me that I do not have the base game (WTF!) And in the Ubisoft support they are only able to say that the key is from an unauthorized store.
So think twice if you want "upgrade" your games from giveways for Ubisoft.
Ubi, great games and bad, very bad support...

You have purchased additional content for games gifted by UBI
The game they gifted was for the Uplay client back in 2017. Did you buy a Steam key for the season pass of AC IV?
No of course, was a Uplay Key.
Just so it's clear. The DLC is showing you own it on your uplay account but it's not in the game?
yes, that is the thing, it appear in my games and sais "additional content you own, without owning the base game" and not recognise the copy of the game that was gifted.
Uplay, same as Origin, allows having several copies of the same game in your library, if they come from different regions. I assume the dlc key you bought is from different region, thats why its shown but not working.

As someone who bought the same black flag season pass during the last sale, I will install now and confirm.
Does you see the following 'owned season pass dlc under AC IV Black Flag > Store? You should have the following checked:
-Death Vessel Pack DLC
-Crusader and Florentine Pack DLC
-Blackbeard's Wrath DLC
-Freedom Cry DLC
-Illustrious Pirates Pack DLC
-Guild of Rogues DLC
no, neither in game, these only appear in the info of my account, btw, are you capable to connect to the servers in game?, that is other trouble that is happening but as far I knew also affects other people.

Seems Ubisoft never fixed this...so I don't expect them to now
Hi, thanks for the link with this info, sadly not worked for me, and apparently reading other forums seems that the new client is the problem I will try with the old uplay, some people says that work whitout flaws
