My first childhood game... Even though I am not so old yet, I cant remember a lot of what I played!
I think it was Brothers in Arms D-Day, which I secretly played on my Dad´s computer.
Also I remember playing Lucas Arts games like DotT and MM on my first laptop.

Unfortunately, I cant remember the name of the first game I ever had. I've actually searched for it before and cant find it again :(
I do remember loving Quake 1 back in the MSDOS days.

Not sure what my first game was but I loved playing Spider-Man 2 on the PS2 as a kid. The web-swinging and atmosphere were so good in that game :D.

I think one of my first games I played was one among Winter Challenge, Prehistorik 2, and Stunts on a DOS pc at my grandparents'. Very nice games.
When we bought our own pc (in 1998), some of the first games I used to play were Quake 2, Total Annihilation, Little Big Adventure 2 and Worms 2.

My firsts favorite games (MSDOS) Mickey's 123: The Big Surprise Party, Dizzy Prince of the Yolkfolk, Magic Pockets, I played them when I was like 4 years old. Probably my very first game was in atari, but I don't remember it.

First game I ever played was either Super Mario for the NES or Pong on an Atari, I was really young and don't remember which was first. My favorite childhood game was The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past on the SNES.

The first PC game I remember playing was Doom. My dad got our first computer for himself (don't remember why), and my big brother got a bunch of games. Need For Speed, Warcraft, Dooms, Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, Nethack... Doom still holds a special place in my heart. :) First game I really pretty much completed. Used to do speed runs of the levels, with 100% secret and par times in the hardest difficulty.
I was 8 or 9 at the time.
The Doom series was also the first game I bought on Steam last November.
However, I'm currently pissing all kinds of rainbows because I just found Blackthorne (which will always be Blackhawk to me) as a free download on Battlenet! <3 <3 That's a game I've been aching for for the past 20 years. For some reason it stopped launching on our old machine (yeah, I still have it in running order) -- don't remember why, maybe it was password protected and I forgot what it was or needed a special launch floppy or something like that. Never got to finish it but now...
Yes I'm a nostalgic sap. And I still love everything Nethack style.

When I was a little kid in the early 70s we had a mechanical pong game. The ball moved semi-randomly somehow. A few years later I got a pocket electronic football game that only allowed a running game. A year or two I got a newer version that let you run, pass or kick.
