So, as usual, I got wondering.

What was the last game you beat?
I don't mean actual 100% cleared, just beat.

Two day ago, I FINALLY beat the Ringed City from Dark Souls 3. And since it was with a new character devoted to using one weapon I needed to get from it, I count it as beaten the game as well. Especially since I did an ending I never got before.

So, who's next?

Sorry, no GA at the moment as I have nothing left.

Edit- Thanks to one poster, I should clarify that the game does not have to be on steam. It could be on the PS4, XBone, Switch or other. Even a phone game.

Edit 2- Added in PS5 and Series X games too.

Renowned Explorers:International Society
Not close to 100% because that requires DLC and a lot of RNG,but it was a nice turn based,rogue-lite exploration game where you travel the world looking for treasures and the abilities of your crew can shift the "mood" of the fight, giving you and your enemies buffs/debuffs and changing the way people react to you.
Uncommon for this kind of games, the easiest type of adventure was actually easy(instead of being nigh indistinguishable from normal)and it gave achievements(instead of having to play on the "intended" difficulty). If you want a more difficult challenge however, you have to play the harder type of adventure where you're forced into this "intended" difficulty if you want to go for achievements, which is a design decision i loathe everytime i come across it. 6,5/10

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 1.
Real Slowburn of a game, but damn it sets up the series incredibly well.

I was just looking for some short point and click adventure in my library the other day and found this one that I didn't remember buying (not that rare) and had a nice looking art style, little did I knew that it was a queer noir detective story musical with claymation graphics, needles to say it was one of the most unique pieces of art I've ever came across. It's actually pretty nice finding these nice little surprises that my past self accidentally left behind for me.

Acting Lessons
An adult VN where,as usual, you can bang anything that moves if you pick the right dialogue choices...but also one that deals with a lot of dark themes.Physical and psicological trauma, domestic violence, emotional abuse, struggling with cancer, attempted S.A.,stalking and murder(both attempted and successful). The result was a game that pulled a bit at the heartstrings too, instead of just the loins.

If you count 100% completion, i guess some Zup! game is what i last beat. And i did it the legit way, and yes i do enjoy them for the puzzles, not only for achievements.

A New Beginning-Final Cut
One of the many Daedalic point and click adventures, this one is about a team of time travelers coming back to the past to stop climate change.
It was alright, nothing to write home about.

I just finished Fallout New Vegas. I thought i would do the DLCs after the end of the game, but there is no possibility to continue, so i have to get back to a previous save. They did it fine, there is an automatic save with a special name just before the moment you choose which faction you will back up.

Control was the game I finished last. It was like a fever dream and it was awesome. The gameplay was innovative and the plot while it appeared basic, was quite layered. Have completed the game but have left the Dlc alone for now. Read somewhere Alan Wake figures into it. So Ill wait till I get my hands on Alan wake 1 and American Nightmare. Might take a while but man!! Remedy is so good, on that note will definitely check out Quantum Break one day.

If mobile games count,i finished the fourth season(of 8) of the Criminal Case series. Each one has you solving murder investigations in various settings, with each case taking 4 or 5 days if you don't pay to skip the timers when you analyze the clues. Each game has around 60 cases so each season takes a year if you go fully F2P.

Signalis was my last. Really good for the old Resident Evil vibes but terribly limiting inventory management!. Probably need an analysis or something for the plot as it gets confusing and then some at times and I'm still not sure I'll get all that happened.

Just before that was Persona 3 Portable, really nice compliment to the original Persona 3 but a bit too much of a visual novel change. Only recommended if you already played the original or want to see the female protagonist route. Still very fun tho.

Metro Exodus yet again for Iron Mode achievement/bad ending. Next is Ranger Hardcore at some point for 100% and then uninstall.

Everhood - not the main ending but one of the alternative ending that statistically quite low so I am quite happy to achieve that. :D

Eastward, a quirky Zelda-esque action adventure game set in a post apocalyptic world. The main characters are a middle aged man named John who beats shit to death with a frying pan(and cooks gourmet food in the same pan), and a mysterious little girl named Sam. The pixel art and animations are gorgeous. Some of the best I've ever seen. The story is pretty good, the music is decent, and the characters are well designed and written. The environments can get a bit repetitive, as they mostly follow a handful of themes, but the sheer quality of the art helps make up for it. It's not a very difficult game, in fact it's pretty easy. I give it a solid 7.5/10

100% of Sherlock Holmes:Crimes&Punishments.Aside from the political side plot with Mycroft and the unexplained and seemingly useless morality system,it's a nice detective game. The puzzles are not too hard and each case has its own nice plot.Wish we got more use out of the disguise options instead of being limited to specific sections.
