So I was talking to my brothers yesterday, and we got on the subject of technology. We started to talk about games, and we talked about a game I have not seen in years... MDK! for those of you who don't know this game, it is probably one of the best 3rd person shooters, and a great classic! I remember playing this game when I was 3 or 4, and now I am 18 reliving my childhood! The game is on steam, but you have to get some stupid texture pack in order for it to work. gog.com has it working right off the bat and its $6 instead of $10. Basically, I want to ask you guys, what was your childhood game(s) or games you played that introduced you to the video game realm? Mine were MDK, nanosaur, and E.V Nova.

Did you have a game you used to play in your childhood?

Gorillas in QBASIC. That's what got me started programming as a kid. Beyond that, Excitebike was awesome.

It reminded me of Rampage for a second.

And the other nes game? I don't remember it's name, it was a top down race game. The third track was on the beach, and everytime you advanced through levels the road had less lanes.
