Is it possible to refund games after 2 hours of gameplay if you have a valid reason?

Yes. It's always worth a try, isn't it.

It is possible. The policy reads: "even if you fall outside of the refund rules we’ve described, you can ask for a refund anyway and we’ll take a look".

I'm pretty positive if it's a one-time thing and the reason is convincing they'll probably accept..

It probably won't happens, but sometimes they'll do it. it's worth a try.

I've gotten refunds that didn't exactly fit the rules, so its definitely worth trying !

It is possible - just maybe not very likely. There have been certain exceptions and there is no harm in trying.

Just explain your case the best you can, be honest and forthright, and hope for the best. =]

I've had refunds happen after the thresholds count. If you have a valid reason, it really helps (i.e. bugs began after 2 hours, or refunding to buy at a discount). I had Valve refund a game I bought at full price so I could buy it at a discount, and I had over two hours and I had it for over two weeks! Not a lot on either margin, but you can try and you have a shot at it!

I also refunded a game because of performance; it was over two weeks if I remember correctly, but under on time.
