Hello friends,

If you're looking for friends that enjoy the same type of games as yourself, this may be the perfect area to find and add them. All you have to do is follow the method and people who find that they have in common with you can add you.

Display what games you are most passionate about and would be happy to discuss with others on Steam or even play with them.

So here's my model, you can copy it:

If you love to play [Insert Game Here] add me on Steam...

❗ If you add someone, please inform them why you do so, not everybody may have an idea where you're coming from.

I'll go first,

If you love to play

  1. Assassin's Creed Franchise
  2. XCOM Franchise
  3. Mass Effect Franchise
  4. The Sims Franchise

ADD ME on Steam...

Please let me know on My Steam Profile why you added me, so I can know what type of games you like. I like to categorize people that way.

I play a lot of games, so just because I've listed mine doesn't mean I may not want to add you for the games I fancy. Keep in mind, that this list may change and I may add more in the future.

I prefer to have my friends directly on Steam. If I can see them online and see their recommendations for games it matters a lot more in making decisions what games should I play and what I shouldn't. Discord for me brings an extra effort to constantly open my app or check on it if I'm gaming or not. I use Discord for our YT group, but I don't spend that much time there for chatting.

I've got my Ultrawide monitor which I use it for work mostly and gaming.

I worked at a financial institution which the standard setup was 2 monitors. So I kinda got hooked into it. One for the main task and another for secondary purposes/watch videos/do something while you're playing windowed fullscreen. For the main monitor you'll want a good, high-refresh, HDMI workhorse but the secondary can be just anything, old monitor or even a smaller TV. A VGA connector will do.
Cant miss this: I've seen your profile Vasharal, and I hope to get one so cool someday.

This is my Ultrawide Monitor. I'm happy with it, but sometimes it can be difficult to play games that demand you to have a 1080p display. I've been thinking to get a 1920x1080 main display and use the ultrawide monitor either on top or on the side to act as a secondary screen.

I would see myself having my monitors like this:

Its nice to buy the mount and install the way you want it. Also check the way your chair is installed so you can minimize your effort to see all screens. But you don't have to break the bank for it- anything will do. My secondary atm is a 32' old TV that was collecting dust in the other room. Perfect for watching series.

I'd like a good 32" monitor because that may become my main screen so I don't struggle with some games that aren't supporting 1440p resolution.

Yep Its great. And I have it angled so a couch directly aligned to it allows me to see TV series/movies downloaded.
Consider your space(desk space also), your budget, distance/comfort when viewing each screen, the angle(is your curved wide monitor angled? If it is, gotta take that into consideration) of which you'll be seeing the data displayed, etc. Those articulated bases are really, really handy. Just make sure the monitors/TV you'll be buying comply with the VESA mounting standard and you're golden.

My Ultrawide Monitor is straight, so that's going to allow me to have a good setup unless my 1080p monitor gets curved.

What I plan to mount will be the monitor I've got, it's wide and slim, so that makes it the perfect candidate.

Original Mass effect on steam or the new edition? Haven't know it has multiplayer. I always wanted to play Stranded deep in coop, but it took them 6 years to add such possibility and till that I realized how bad game is.

It doesn't matter, as long as you like the Franchise.

Mass Effect 3 had Multiplayer, idk if it's still active at this point. They should re-add it back in the Legendary Edition.

I love playing Dota2(Support/Hard Support are my fav roles) and would love people to play frequently. Only requirement is that you have fingers and a pulse :)
Add me for that. Or just add me without a reason. If you wanna talk or suggest a game we can play together, I'm in.

I'm an old-time League Player, how is Dota nowadays? I've quit League 2 seasons ago and that gives me a lot of time to focus on games I love. Still has a special place in my heart. I've been wondering how Dota is doing lately in comparison with previous years.

Its a great game, well executed(as you know) and they're constantly improving. The main problem is toxicity. Some guy picks a support role, picks a carry character, plays for himself, zero contribution to the team while ranting with others over comms. This moves a lot of people away from it. I, personally, got used to it. Its a great game nevertheless and I have lots of fun.
Oh also: Terraria. I just bought this last sale. I had the GOG version(DRM free)and remember building these gigantic bases with all kinds of environments. Never played with other people but must be fun(if you're into that kind of game)

This is the same issue in League. The game is excellent and a lot of fun but some people are too negative and angry on how others play or the fact that the whole team is losing.

Not so much my cup of tea. I know it's a great game, but I'm not into it that much.
