Good deal?
Epic? We totally can blame it on Epic, can't we? It's probably IGN though
Seriously I think devs don't make much on bundles and with the amount of grey market sites that resell bundled keys for months, they can't even count on their sales once the bundle is over so it's not really doing much for them.

Nailed it. Bundles are barely good for MP games, and for SP games, all they do is devalue the game.
Just check any bundle thread, and you'll find someone complaining about price.

Right? I mean if you look at how massively discounted all the games that have been in humble monthlies in the past year, are, you get the idea that it's not working well for devs. And that's why most of the regular Humbles now are MP games that are trying to attract a player base... or games with looooads of pricey DLC that never get discounted.
(I'm gonna stop clogging your inbox now, it's been a lot today lol)

I remember a time when catching a good deal meant scraping the bottom of the discount bin at Babbage's or Electronics Boutique, and then you were lucky to find that 2-3 year old gem marked 75% off. (Not all of them were gems -- I do own a disc copy of Daikatana ...)
These days, we've become used to 90%+ discounts, huge Steam sales, and consequently huge game libraries (which contributes to that "moar discount!" mentality). I mean, I get it -- everyone wants cheap games -- but inevitably it's going to have an impact on the industry. Perhaps we're seeing the beginning of the end of bundles?

Those comments drive me crazy. "$3.49 for a bunch of games that would cost at the very least 10X that price together mmmh no too pricey".
I think it's also a matter of simple saturation and burnout. There was a time Humble churned out seven bundles a month (two "regular", four weeklies and the monthly). Everyone jumped on the bandwagon, up to the Gogo/Otaku shitshow. It was clear it couldn't support itself indefinitely, long before IGN took Humble over. Yet many people still act Surprised Pikachu about it.

Agreed. Looks like everyone's preparing for their summer holidays/vacations so no time to come up with proper bundles, lol.
