So in a month I'm going on a trip for a few weeks and I won't be able to take my external HDD with me (I keep all my games there since I don't want to fill my SSD with them) and I've decided to replay Skyrim with all the mods I've installed but I've had it installed in my external for a while now. Normally I have no problems just by moving it to the steam library folder in my SSD and starting a download of the game in the same folder (it just verifies the files and I can play it instantly) however since my Skyrim is heavily modded I'm not sure this method will work. I might need to redo all the mod configuration and load order all over again. Anyone know if my method will work without breaking the mods? Or maybe a different method to move the game.

Anyway here is a little giveaway. I wanted to give back more because of the recent win streak I've been having the past weeks and my birthday which is in 4 days (25th November) but with my cakeday, Christmas, new year and the winter sale being soon I decided to leave the rest of the games I have for that time :)

Just wanted to say I solved it. Just moving the game worked without even having steam recheck anything since I'm running the game through the SKSE launcher.
