Agents Of Mayhem - PC Version, WTF? (issues, issues, controls suck!)

hey guys, i really love volition games but i recently started Saints Row 4 and it is a pain to play with a ps4 controller, there are issues without an end and i might just buy it on ps4....
then i started AGENTS OF MAYHEM, well after some start/close automatic issues it finally works but WTF is this? sprinting/boosting on the left thumbstick? how bad are these controls? if you drive and have a race you have to steer and boost on the same stick? and i see no option on a ps4/ingame controls to change it.....
do you also have issues? i really want to enjoy these games but i think i might just get them on ps4 for cheap and have less better graphics and performance but no issues with setting up and so on...

you should buy it there since its better on console if you have one i mean ....

i didnt see any fps drops on the pc version dont know whats your problem

Ps : change the controller to a normal one i had no issue with it

if you choose first generic controller you cannot set up any keys in the steam overaly and move up is move backwards. changing back to ps4 controller the game closes automatically.

Maybe you should think, and use the Steam forums for the games you're having issues with instead of posting here perhaps...

Saints Row 4 works fine on my 10 year old pc. (I have not tried Agents of Mayhem.)
If you're having issues with your PS4 controller not being able to have customised control settings, then buy a controller that's designed to work on a PC.

steam supports ps4 controllers normally, no prob with MANY games only volition games so far, the logic with people never goes away it seems "it does work for me, so it should work for all" ;D

If Steam Supports the gamepad does not mean that the game does it too.
So i would check the gamepad profile in Steam for the game (i know from the past that some layouts overwrite stuff even if the game supports gamepads without the damn gamepad emulation).

For remapping your PS4 controller for Agents of Mayhem, I can think of a few options:
1) Try http://ds4windows.com/
2) Find where the game keeps its config and try remapping it

Lastly what makes you think the DS4 controls on PC will be different on the PS4? Its the same game
The DS4 was really late to the PC party. In the end you will need better controller if you want to play more PC games

I really don't see why you would go through the effort of buying a bad game on an inferior platform, just to skip the trouble of remapping controls

I tried a PS4 controller for PC a while back, but gave up pretty quick and switched to an Xbox controller... and haven't looked back.

You can use mouse on consoles as well now

That's a personal preference and people should stop calling one better than the other. In 3rd person games a gamepad feels way more natual to me personally than a mouse.
