can't say but get maybe 2-5 games and rotate between them till you finish? or get civ 5. You can play Civ V for hours upon hours.

try rotating the games you play each day like maybe a rpg one day then a shooter the next.

then play for short stretches of time is my only other idea.like play for 15-30min then take a break for 15-30 min and do something else like read or tv or something

play something casual, or with high replay-ability due to randomness or multiplayer, such as a quick, coffee table roguelike (brogue, Dungeons of Dredmor, FTL) or any of the many FPSs.
Also, play what your friends are playing. Then it might become more interesting as you all have a shared experience.
EDIT: try out something from here! The Free Bundle

You know whats really funny?
I sort of have the same problem but... its not because i get bored.
IS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT THE GAME TO END, SO I STOP BEFORE COMPLETING IT
Makes no fucking sense, tottally irrational but i had to give up my denial and came to understand that. Surely having other games around helps this happening, and some too-linear/too-short games bypass that (generally i notice too late its over).

Try making yourself more comfortable. If you're sitting at a desk, chuck some cushions behind/under you. If you're playing on your computer with a small monitor, try hooking it up to a TV if possible and play on the couch. If you have speakers lying around that you don't use, plug them in. The better the picture and sound quality is, the more you'll enjoy the games, the more immersive they'll feel and you might find yourself becoming more engaged. When I'm in a really uncomfortable seat, I can't wait to get off the computer but when I'm chilling on the couch I could sit here forever haha.

FMPOV this is not a problem - if you enjoy games but get bored easily, then that's just how you roll. Get bored? Buy other games. No money? Play the ones you haven't completed. Don't feel like it? Do something else.
ALWAYS wanting to play games - now that's a problem (that I have)
just my 2 cents.

If you didnt play for a month and still dont have any desire to start playing again, maybe gaming isnt your stuff. Not like you cant apreciate once in a while, but you should try to find another hooby. Go play guitar, hit the Gym, go out, study, etc...
