Personally I like polls explicitly in bundle threads because they give a good overall impression what people think about the bundle, even those that don't bother commenting.

Ah so it's just for personal curiosity and whatnot? I can see that now and how people might appreciate it afterall. If I make another one of these threads I'll include a poll. Then I'll have to wrestle over the quandary of whether to include a potato option or not!
I was looking at it solely from the perspective of people possibly using the polls to decide whether they should buy it or not. and couldn't really seeing them doing that.

Amazing bundle!!!! :D All 4 games with very positive reviews! And 3 of them was on my wishlist (1 of them I just bought a few weeks ago on Humble Sale!) Games to be installed straight away ^_^

Already had Devils Dare from the Holiday Sale gem bidding auctions, but this is still a great bundle. I had Impossible Game on my wishlist and I can't wait to see what they add next week. Even if it's bundle shovelware, it's still a great bundle.

Yes, all bundles have gift pack pricing that is separate and apart from Happy Hour. Once Happy Hour starts, then the gift packs can be purchased in larger amounts and end up making the price per bundle even cheaper, but that's dependent on you buying your first bundle early, before Happy Hour starts and before any price increases. So, if you're hosting a group buy, you'd buy one bundle immediately when it launches, then wait for the Happy Hour to get more as gifts. That always results in the best deal.
