In Civilization 6, there is a scout unit of two models (with a cat and with a dog), you can pet a dog, but when you try to pet a cat, this message comes out: «One does not simply pet a cat». It's pretty funny.

Not quite an "achievement" but in Destiny 2 you can pet a dog in the Tower and a Frog in the HELM. Both give you triumphs (in game achievements) iirc

Among those i saw, without playing the game, i liked the one in Plantera 2 for petting the ‘real’ cat who, as the achi title states, has done the voice acting for the game.

I just got it and played it for 3.5 hours straight without realizing, took an hour break, and am now at 5.5 hours total. I am going for all of the achievements, but a nice 5ish hour story that's adorable and mindless yet enjoyable!

First discussion post on here so sorry if it's wrong category or anything. Saw an article online about an achievement in Hades for petting Cerberus and it got me wondering what other games had achievements for petting animals. Dogs, cats, dinosaurs, doesn't matter. Please share any games you've come across with petting achievements.
