Manhunt: possible to play with ps3 pad?

my pad is working for pc games and i configured it but in manhunt it doesnt respond, is there a way to play it with a pad?

The gamepad controls for this game don't seem to work with XInput. Perhaps if you have a DInput compatible controller (AKA older controller) instead, you can play it.

No clue, I just know that when most people use it, it is through a XInput emulator. I'm not sure what the native drivers (if any) are like.

If you use the XInput wrapper by Scarlet Crush then it uses both XInput/DInput like 360 controller.

As far as I know Manhunt doesn't have controller support at all. You'll have to use something like joy2key or something.

It does have controller support, though it won't work correctly with a 360 pad.

well i use ps3 pad and it works for most games so far i started (ewer ones thought) if anyone knows how to use let me know plz ;), when i remap the keys it only accepts the square, triangle etc. and the bumpers but not the sticks and d-pad.

xpadder, pinnacle game profiler, or for cheapskates joy2key. altough my 360 pad worked out of the box with manhunt 2, not sure about manhunt 1 though.
