Already have it from the Humble Origin Bundle 2, but thanks for the post, that made me realise I own Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. I wonder if it's still relevant. Far as I could find out, the offline split screen mode is console only, which is a real pity.

Really cool that this will reach a larger audience, but I should say, you shouldn't play it without playing ME1 first. It'll spoil that one's story for you (and ME1 is great and arguably the better game so that'd be disappointing), and it'll also assume you made all the worst choices in it making your ME2 experience quite a bit harder.

I'm playing through the series now and I originally bought Mass Effect 2 on release having not played the first one and it really does feel like a new experience with all these familiar faces that appear if you saved them. I agree playing ME1 really is a must.

It's actually a really fun and humorous game, even though it's slightly old. I played this game and it's successor a lot when I was young and was very excited to add it to my Origin library. You won't regret playing it, if you give it a chance, I promise you that.

I guess by time I found out about it, it was too late.
I never played the mass effect series, I only played a bit of the dragon age series - got the first one free and bought the newest one on my console when it was on sale for like 5 bucks.
I guess so far with playing dragon age it was just okay, and I guess I'm not sure how mass effect would have been so I think it might not have been much of a loss - but maybe it was a glitch and it came early and who knows maybe this could be the next game with the games on the house and it was just put up early?
