I mean off the wall, odd as fuck movies where you stopped says WTF about 10-20 minutes in.
This has to be in my top 10 of that.
This too.

So, what do you think could be yours?

Sorry for repeating. However, if more than one person says that these are strange, it must be true.
In fact, every movie made by those three gentlemen is pretty weird and disturbing.

Eastern Promises is pretty straightforward. Cronenberg still talks about doing a sequel.

Eastern Promises is pretty straightforward.

I haven't watched it yet, but indeed, it looks that Cronenberg has begun making rather straightforward films.

I can't recall the name it was black and white with only nature sounds. Some dude getting his guts out with white sheets on him.

Edit2: FINALLY Begotten.
Edit: Also Salo. I won't link it because it's one the movies you wish you didn't watch it.

I used to watch a lot of B movies back in the day. Nothing like having a family run video store nearby with limited movie selection...

Anyway, while the title of this movie should give away the B movieness of this movie, the actual movie...ugh. I was expecting something Troma-esque.

Flesh Eating Mothers.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097364/
Per IMDB, "A venereal disease turns an entire town of two-timing mothers into cannibals! "

On a note of a movie more well known, David Lynch's Eraserhead made me stop and go, "What the hell am I watching?" I restarted it awhile later and it was a fine movie, but that first attempted watching assuming I was getting a normal movie...

I don't really find any films "strange". But these should work for you:

Symbol
Zardoz
The Holy Mountain
El Topo
Adam Chaplin
Kin-dza-dza!

Somebody already took Zardoz so I'll go with Tokyo Gore Police or any movie directed by Lynch or Cronenberg. A lot of short educational films are usually fantastically insane too.

EDIT: A lot of Kubrick films get pretty bizarre too

EDIT2: Any movie with the title Turkish <Insert Hollywood Movie Here> and also Nazis at the Center of the Earth just because it basically turns Hitler into this

Not sure what I'd give the top spot too as I've seen a lot of the prior mentions and don't really consider them weird. For me Battlefield Baseball is probably up there but I've seen it so many times its passed into normalcy now.

as mentioned above, most of Lych movies, many of Cronenberg (and they are still kinda mainstream directors).

Good. Not quite strange enough at points. Perhaps a bit to mainstream because it is so well known and some stupid junior school teacher seems to show it to their students each year.

and of course every slasher-movie where you start to root for the killer because you realise that he is just trying to raise the nationals average IQ Rating

The Youtube links people posted reminded me of another fun/strange movie coming out soon. Iron Sky 2: youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKPwtDjzJMI

For those who don't want to watch, the short summary: President Sarah Palin (basically) goes to the center of the Earth where she speaks with Hitler riding a dinosaur. Also, Palin is a lizard person.

Iron Sky (the first one) was amazing. Moon Nazis invade the Earth.

I enjoy Tetsuo. I actually disliked the second and third Tetsuo movies because they actually had a plot.

Anything from Takashi Miike is worth watching.
