The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth would probably be the best value for money when purchased on sale. I won't use tools like joy2key and grew weary of the keyboard controls in the first game, but it's good stuff. Rebirth liberates Isaac from Flash slowdowns and inputs.
Guild Wars 2 is free! Spend some time playing through the world (the fun part) while waiting for sales on those other games.

Binding of Isaac Rebirth is a game you can play for hundreds of hours and not grow bored! Also, the expansions coming out October 30th and it's going to add another 100+ hrs of content. I highly recommend it :D

Oooh, 25%. Except of that 9, most are just new heists... which means they're more like updates to the game, not DLC. Heists are the one thing you can play without owning on demand by joining someone else who is hosting that heist. Whereas except for Old Hoxton and John Wick, most of the characters--all of the characters added since then are pay, and all of the weapon DLC is pay. Which means that many of the best perk decks, weapons, and weapon mods are pay DLC.
Remember, I called myself a PD2 player, not a PD2 owner.
There was a time where I would recommend the game to a friend... That was like 16 DLC ago... but only 9 months.
The biggest heist in the game is by the devs on the core fanbase's collective wallet.
I can't recommend anyone to just get the base game. And even if I recommend the GOTY edition, they're more than a dozen DLC behind... and many of the DLC they'd be missing have OP shit, like oh, RPGs that one-shot-kill dozers.
Nah, I don't recommend anyone to get PD2, unless they know they're going to put 3-digit hours into it for sure.
