Do the VIP codes work for you? When I try to redeem the expected format is xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx, just like the normal Shift key codes.

Thanks. Yes, they work. To activate a VIP code you need to register at https://borderlands.com/en-US/vip/
Once registered, go to borderlands.com -> INSIDERS-> REDEEM CODE
VIP codes don't activate at Shift.GearboxSoftware.com

That's exactly what I did. Turns out only the button for Shift shows up for me when I use Firefox. Tested it again with IE and the 4 other code buttons show up. I turned off adblockers for borderlands.com but somehow the site is not working properly.
Anyway, got it to work with IE and redeemed all the codes.

How do I use Borderlands 2/Borderlands Pre-Sequel SHiFT codes?
There are a couple easy ways to redeem Borderlands Shift codes for Golden Keys and other in-game items.
Online: Go to Shift.GearboxSoftware.com and create a free account, or login using your Steam account. Once you link the Shift site to your Steam account, go to the Rewards tab and copy/paste a key to redeem it.
In-game: Go to Main Menu > Extras > Shift Code. Once you're on that menu, you'll see a list of previously redeemed Shift codes. Click the Shift Code button at that bottom of that window, then paste in the 25-digit Shift code. Done!
Borderlands VIP Program Codes
This is a Program set up by Gearbox to reward players who have a vested interest in the community. Go to https://borderlands.com/en-US/vip/ to log on and start earning points!
Do activities such as watch announce trailers, go to the Official Borderlands Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to get points. Redeem those points for rewards which are currently only golden keys for borderlands 1 and 2, and some wallpapers. Skins, heads and possibly weapons will be added at a later date, to be determined.
PLEASE NOTE: Season 1 Rewards WILL BE AVAILABLE during other seasons.
You can redeem the codes by going to borderlands.com -> INSIDERS-> REDEEM CODE.
Note: for the content creator codes, you can only do 4 (four) of them. Also, the creator codes can only be redeemed every 22 days or so.
