Borderlands and Wonderlands SHiFT/VIP codes

Shift codes come in two main varieties:

Golden Keys, which open a special crate in the city of Sanctuary. That crate is guaranteed to serve up a purple rarity item. In a game with billions of randomly generated guns, it was a tantalizing way to skip the RNG and get some great weapons.
Special skins: There are unique skins and heads for each Borderlands 2 character that can only be unlocked with Shift codes.

SHiFT Codes:

There is a limit of 999 keys per account. ENSURE YOU WILL NOT EXCEED THIS before redeeming a code.
For the class mod SHiFT codes, the items will appear in the backpack of, and be the same level as, the first character loaded after code redemption. If the character is above Level 51, ensure you are in "Ultimate Vault Hunter" mode to receive the item of the appropriate level.

How do I use Borderlands 2/Borderlands Pre-Sequel SHiFT codes?
There are a couple easy ways to redeem Borderlands Shift codes for Golden Keys and other in-game items.

1. Online: Go to Shift.GearboxSoftware.com and create a free account, or login using your Steam account. Once you link the Shift site to your Steam account, go to the Rewards tab and copy/paste a key to redeem it.

2. In-game: Go to Main Menu > Extras > Shift Code. Once you're on that menu, you'll see a list of previously redeemed Shift codes. Click the Shift Code button at that bottom of that window, then paste in the 25-digit Shift code. Done!

Borderlands VIP Program Codes
This is a Program set up by Gearbox to reward players who have a vested interest in the community. Go to https://borderlands.com/en-US/vip/ to log on and start earning points!

Do activities such as watch announce trailers, go to the Official Borderlands Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to get points. Redeem those points for rewards which are currently only golden keys for borderlands 1 and 2, and some wallpapers. Skins, heads and possibly weapons will be added at a later date, to be determined.

PLEASE NOTE: Season 1 Rewards WILL BE AVAILABLE during other seasons.

You can redeem the codes by going to borderlands.com -> INSIDERS-> REDEEM CODE.

Note: for the content creator codes, you can only do 4 (four) of them. Also, the creator codes can only be redeemed every 22 days or so.
